Peter's framed clocks could well be classified as substantive, to say the least! Constructed from various wood components all milled from cherry, the pieces are then stained in contrasting colors. The dial is recessed inside the outer frame protecting the hands in shipment, and in your home.

Construction & Composition: Most of our clocks and mirrors are carved from large sheets of wood supplied by a Minnesota lumber mill practicing sustainable timber farming. Each piece is then carved on one of our detail carving machines using designs that are created here at our workshop in Ohio. The individual pieces are then hand sanded, finished, and assembled with the clock movement or mirror. Some of the smaller pieces are framed using high quality molding supplied domestically.

Most items are wrapped in a plastic sleeve and packed in corrugated cardboard boxes. Some prints and irregular shaped items will have cardboard corners and/or Styrofoam inserts for added protection. Larger items will be encased in foam for protection during shipping. Multiple items may be packaged in a single shipping box.
