Getting back to our roots, the design trends for 2017, P. Graham Dunn’s Summer line-up features a wide variety of carved pieces. Showcasing a classic farmhouse style paired with the exposure of natural pine wood grains, creates the perfect timeless look.

 

Highlights feature:

 

Signature Signs, modeled after vintage commercial signage from years past, from shape to font, every detail is accentuated. Added distressing, unique text treatments, and detailed embellishments deliver a product that is in every way unique.

 

 

 

The Back 40’s were named after the large acreage often found between a farmhouse, each of these pieces are sizable, elaborately designed, and carved. With meticulous attention to detail, from destressing the paint, to the grains in the wood, each piece appears as if it’s been weathered for years.

 

 

 

 

Prior to more modern shipping methods, wooden barrels were essential in the transportation of goods. These Barrel Tops were created to resemble the lids of these old, wooden shipping barrels. Artistic weathered designs and faux slats are applied, then paired with sentiments of encouragement.

 

 

 

Our Tin and Timber is imitating the look of galvanized steel, combined with a natural stained pine frame, these signs present a unique blend of raw materials. From the staining of the frame to the placement of the sentiment, each piece is artfully detailed.

 

 

 

Carved, vintage, farmhouse and handcrafted are all aspects that can be seen intertwined throughout our Summer 2017 Introduction. We take pride in the fact that the majority of our line is hand assembled, designed, and printed in our Dalton, Ohio factory.

Handcrafted in the heart of Amish Country, Signature signs, The Back 40’s, Barrel Tops, and our Tin and Timber are all new feature products for Summer 2017.

 

Grand Re-Opening!
May 5-13

          Come and see our newly remodeled gift shop during our Grand Re-Opening May 5th - 13th! There will be great deals and discounts as well as various activities and giveaways to participate in throughout the week. Plus, free snacks and refreshments to enjoy each day while you shop.

P. Graham Dunn Appoints New CEO

P. Graham Dunn is pleased to announce that Mike Taylor has been appointed CEO of the company effective April 1, 2017.  Peter Dunn will continue in his role of Chairman of the Board while Joe Knutson will continue in the role of President.

Mike has been a longtime advisor to Peter and LeAnna Dunn and the P. Graham organization dating back more than 25 years.  “Over the years Mike has become more than a business adviser.  He has also become a family adviser on transitioning our business from the first generation to the second.  He has done so with a combination of persistence and grace.  Our company is at a pivotal point in its growth where the skills and experience of Mike will be fully utilized,” says Peter Dunn. 

Mike is a former shareholder of Rea and Associates, Inc where he has served as manager of the Millersburg Office and Vice President of Operations.  Rea and Associates is an Ohio accounting and business advisory firm with 10 offices and over 225 business professionals.  The firm is one of the largest CPA firms in Ohio and the 96th largest firm in the United States.

P. Graham Dunn has experienced significant growth over the past few years, including the completion of a facility expansion that nearly triples the space they occupied just a year ago.  The expansion is in step with capacity to support customer demand and greater product complexity.  “What has made P. Graham Dunn great is our ability to design and adapt to the market.  As we continue to grow we need to protect that competitive edge while serving the needs of a wide variety of customers.  We understand it will take change in the way we do things to serve our customers tomorrow as well as we serve them today.  Mike will be an agent of that change,” said Joe Knutson, President.

“I am honored to take the role of CEO in this company.  I am looking forward to working with Peter, Joe and the entire management team.  This is a company with tremendous opportunities and an abundance of great people.  I am excited about the future and helping to lead this company forward,” said Mike.

Mike is a lifelong resident of Millersburg and has served as an advisor to companies throughout Wayne and Holmes County.  He is skilled at organizational development and business planning. Mike is married to Cindy and has two adult children and two grandchildren.
